As a Mechanic Nuclear Submariner, you will have a role in the operation and maintenance of the steam-powered nuclear propulsion plant onboard a Navy submarine and associated mechanical systems and equipment.
Your duties include, but aren’t limited to operating and maintaining:
Air compressors
Freshwater production plants
Steam turbines
Pumps
Valves

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $120,514 per year.
For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have passes in Year 12 English and Maths.
