We provide the technical support, know-how, expertise, and relationships required for the

n

success of our developer and investor clients. Due to exceptional growth recently, we are

n

seeking an experienced building inspector to join our team.

n

The tasks of the building inspector would include, but are not limited to:

n

Conducting onsite inspections of existing properties, construction sites and new

n

residential builds;

n

Inspecting building work and materials for compliance with relevant specifications,

n

regulations, codes and standards;

n

Identifying building defects, damage, design faults and maintenance issues;

n

Interpreting plans, specifications and relevant building regulations;

n

Preparing inspection reports, sketches and related technical documentation;

n





Collecting and analysing inspection data using relevant equipment and industry

n

software;

n

Liaising with management regarding inspection schedules, reports and client

n

requirements;

n

Providing technical building inspection input to support the development and

n

improvement of the company's AI-powered inspection application;

n

Assisting with testing digital inspection tools and automated reporting systems;

n

Identifying and connecting with potential commercial clients requiring building

n

inspection or related services;

n

Maintaining qualified relationships with developers, builders, investors and other

n

industry stakeholders; and

n

Assisting management with inspection scopes, quotations and service proposals for

n

Required Skills and Experience:

n

Hold a current building trade qualification or industry equivalent;

n

Must hold, or be willing to attain, pest inspection units of competence;

n

Be able to prove at least 5 years of residential and commercial building and

n

A basic knowledge of the Victorian Building Act and Legislation or a willingness and

n

ability to learn quickly;

n

Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail;

n

Willing to travel anywhere at the request of the manager;

n

Presentable, punctual, and professional.
