DI Sign Group, a well established and proudly Melbourne based, custom fabrication and illuminated signage business are experiencing high growth.

With a high profile, national client base and demand for quality manufacturing and high end finishes, we are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our team.

n

Based in our modern manufacturing facility in Mordialloc, you will join a diverse, talented, close-knit team with an excellent culture, focused on producing the highest quality in the Signage industry.

n

The Role

n

As a Fabricator you will utilise your existing skills and experience, working closely with our highly skilled team of tradespeople and management.

n

The role is permanent full-time, with some overtime available. Day Shift only with hours flexible for the right candidate.

n

In this dynamic and integral role, you will be focusing on:

n

n
- MIG & TIG welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
n
- Building and preparing a wide variety of signage, structures and pylons
n
- Creating jigs and fixtures
n
- Skilled use of hand and power tools
n
- Read and interpret technical drawings
n
- Liaise with supervisor to achieve daily production requirements
n
- Opportunity to learn various areas of the business including CNC operation, LED wiring and general sign manufacturing
n

Your Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Coming from a similar role, you will bring a combination of the following skills and experience:
n
- Experience (at least 3-5 years) as a Fabricator
n
- Experience in the signage industry an advantage
n
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings
n
- A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
n
- Genuine interest in custom signage manufacturing
n
- Strong attention to detail and proactive
n
- Forklift licence preferred but not required
n
- Most of all, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and strives to be the best they can.
