Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the prospect to work in a dynamic acute care environment where your clinical skills and emergency expertise will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Work in a busy emergency department delivering high-acuity patient care
- AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, three-month contract with flexibility to extend
- Contribute your triage, resuscitation, and Advanced Life Support expertise to a supportive clinical team

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




- Demonstrated emergency department experience with proven competence in triage assessment
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Solid resuscitation skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong clinical communication and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing professional development in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications such as trauma nursing (TNCC) or emergency care qualifications are advantageous
