Job Play is looking for an experienced HR Tipper Truck Driver to join a well-established civil construction client on projects in and around Toowoomba. You'll be carting materials around site and between sites, working alongside a tight-knit crew on active civil works.
What you'll be doing
- Operating a tipper truck safely on and around active civil construction sites
- Carting spoil, gravel, road base and materials around site and between sites
- Daily pre-start checks, fault reporting and basic truck maintenance
- Loading and unloading with correct load restraint
- Working in with excavator operators, spotters and site supervisors
- Assisting the crew with general labouring duties between loads
- Following site safety requirements, SWMS and traffic management plans
What you'll need
- Current Australian HR licence (non-negotiable)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Previous tipper truck experience on civil or construction sites
- Confidence operating in tight, uneven and busy site conditions
- Own PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, hard hat, safety glasses)
- Reliable transport to site and a strong attendance record
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Highly regarded:
- Load restraint and/or fatigue management training
- Truck & Dog or HC experience
- Traffic control ticket
- Clean traffic history report
