As Ecowize continues to grow, we’re looking for experienced Hygiene Operators to join our team in Broadmeadows, VIC.

10:30 pm – 6:00 am

What you’ll be doing
As a Hygiene Operator, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the site is cleaned, sanitised and ready for production each day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising industrial machinery, equipment and production lines
- Cleaning factory floors, walls and work surfaces to a high standard
- Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
- Following site procedures, safe work practices and PPE requirements
- Working efficiently to ensure cleaning is completed within required timeframes
- Working collaboratively with your team to deliver consistently high hygiene standards
These responsibilities reflect the Hygiene Operator position description,
which places a strong focus on achieving required hygiene standards before production start-up while working safely with industrial cleaning equipment.
What we’re looking for
Previous cleaning experience within a food manufacturing or food production environment is essential for these roles.
You’ll also need to be:
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Comfortable in a hands-on, predominantly manual role
- Able to work to strict timelines
- Safety conscious and committed to following procedures
- A strong team player who can follow instructions
- Detail focused and proud of the quality of your work
The role requires the physical ability to undertake manual work, reliability, teamwork and a willingness to perform to expected standards.
