We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Field Assistants to join our team and support our clients' ongoing exploration efforts.

Field Assistant
Role Overview:
n As an experienced Field Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's geological teams in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exploration services and a proven track record of contributing to successful operations. You must possess a safety-first mindset, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in remote and challenging conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Conduct RC/AC duties, including chipping, sampling, and sample dispatch.
n
- Perform DD processing tasks.
n
- Accurately meter mark, conduct orientation, record RQD and SG data.
n
- Work safely and efficiently near diamond drill rigs.
n
- Collect and enter data in compliance with project standards.
n
- Operate XRF equipment for sample analysis.
n
- Manage the dispatching and archiving of samples.
n
- Undertake manual labour tasks as required.
n




- Participate actively in safety and pre-start meetings, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
n

Essential Requirements:

n

n
- Proven experience working as a Field Assistant in the mineral exploration and mining industry (only applicants with relevant experience will be considered).
n
- Strong commitment to maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Physically fit and capable of working in remote and rugged environments.
n
- Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and drug and alcohol screening.
n
- Valid manual driver’s license.
n
- Current National Police Certificate.
n
- Must be based in Queensland (Preference given to Brisbane/Townsville/Cairns-based applicants).
n
- Australian citizenship, residency, or unrestricted work rights.
n
- First Aid certification is highly desirable.
n
- Flexibility with rostered work schedules required.
n
