About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior People Partner, who has the breadth and depth required to provide guidance and coaching to our leaders but to also deliver value for our people. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with executive, senior and people leaders to translate business priorities into clear practical people plans that support outcomes across safety, reliability, efficiency and growth.

This is a high-impact role within an integrated People Partnering, Talent and People Operations team. You will protect strategic partnering capacity by working with leaders, enable at the right level, coaching for accountability, enabling change, strengthening workforce readiness, and helping simplify how work gets done.

What You'll Do

- Act as the senior People & Culture partner for designated business portfolios, providing practical, commercially grounded advice across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with executives, senior leaders and people leaders to translate business priorities into people plans aligned to Power Together 2030.
- Coach leaders to build capable, accountable and inclusive teams, strengthening leadership, engagement, performance and workforce resilience.




- Lead and support people initiatives that improve workforce readiness, including talent, succession, retention, mobility, performance and capability development.
- Support organisational change and transformation by applying consistent change principles and helping leaders to support their people through change.
- Provide organisational design and workforce planning advice, including structure reviews, role design, remuneration considerations and implementation support.
- Support leaders to manage people matters early and effectively, with a focus on psychosocial safety, inclusion, accountability and positive employee outcomes.
- Manage people matters in line with the People Partner case management RACI, taking ownership of standard cases, applying early triage and risk assessment, and escalating complex or high-risk matters to Workplace Relations or relevant specialists as required.
- Work across People Partnering, Advisory, Talent, People Services and specialist People & Culture teams to ensure leaders receive connected, consistent and fit-for-purpose support.
- About You

You are an experienced People & Culture professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving complex people challenges, and delivering practical, business-focused outcomes.

You will bring:

Qualifications

- Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.

Experience

- Significant experience in a senior Human Resources or People & Culture partnering role.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and executives.
- Experience leading or supporting organisational change, workforce planning and transformation.
- Experience managing complex employee relations matters and achieving practical outcomes.
- Experience supporting talent, succession, engagement, performance and leadership capability outcomes.




- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to develop practical people solutions.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Sound judgement in complex, sensitive and ambiguous situations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking capability.
- Ability to coach leaders and balance strategic priorities with operational delivery.
