Auto Corner Mackay is looking for a driven, customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to join our growing team across our Toyota, Isuzu and Hyundai dealerships.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, gets results and thrives in a rapid‑paced service environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Service Department and leading our team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

- Leading, supporting and motivating the Service team
- Driving the team to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity and financial results
- Providing support and guidance to our Service Advisors
- Ensuring clear and effective communication between customers, Advisors and the Workshop
- Liaising closely with the Workshop and Warranty Departments
- Helping manage the day‑to‑day operation of a busy, high‑volume Service Department
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and team performance




- Supporting the Group Service Manager in achieving departmental targets

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is an excellent communicator and relationship builder
- Has the ability to lead, motivate and hold a team accountable
- Is results‑driven and enjoys achieving targets
- Can work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Has a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
- Leads by example and isn’t afraid to get involved
- Previous experience in a high‑volume franchise dealership is preferred, but it’s not essential.
