We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent OHS Team Leader to join our team at Victorian Container Management P/L (VCM) in Altona North, Victoria. This position is based at VCM, however our OHS management covers all our sister companies in Melbourne and Western Australia. This full‑time position will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our workplace health and safety practices across our warehousing and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting the OHS Manager in the implementation and monitoring of our OHS management system
- Conducting regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
- Providing support in the development and delivery of OHS training for employees
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to workplace incidents, hazards and corrective actions
- Collaborating with team members to continuously improve our OHS practices and promote a solid safety culture
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety legislation and regulations

About you





- Relevant qualifications or experience in occupational health and safety, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of OHS risk assessment and control methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in the use of OHS management software and data analysis tools
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and a genuine commitment to workplace safety
