About the role

n

You will be the face of CUTEK® for a Victorian customer base. Most days you will be on the road visiting merchants, applicators, builders, and project contacts. Your job is to teach, support, maintain, and get sales from your customer base. This is not a cold-calling, new-business hunting role. About 95% of the work is looking after existing Victorian customers — educating them, solving application issues, keeping relationships strong, and making sure CUTEK® is used properly so the timber performs as it should.

Key responsibilities

n

Visit established customers on a regular run and keep relationships in positive shape

n

Educate staff and applicators on correct preparation, application, and maintenance of CUTEK® oils and Colourtones

n

Help customers choose the right product and colour for the timber and the project

n

Troubleshoot coating issues, greyed timber, application problems, and project queries

n

Record visits and outcomes in our CRM

n

Carry samples and POS, and support in-store and on-site demonstrations

n

Attend meetings, training and the occasional trade show or product demo

n

Start most days from our Croydon warehouse to load samples and materials before heading out

n





Undertake some Victorian regional travel and the occasional overnight stay as required

n

About you

n

Enjoy teaching products more than pushing them

n

Comfortable in timber yards, on decks and on building sites

n

Communicate clearly with trade customers, store staff, and applicators

n

Can manage a territory, keep accurate records, and follow a call cycle

n

Hold a current Australian driver licence and are happy being on the road in Victoria

n

Experience in timber, coatings, hardware, building products or a similar B2B trade environment highly regarded, not essential if you can learn fast

n

A trade, technical or account-management background will often beat a traditional hunter sales CV

n

Fully maintained company vehicle with reasonable private use

n

Phone, laptop and tablet

n

Training and technical support from a small, hands-on team

Monday to Friday role
