Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects,writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of softwareengineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of thesoftware produced by their team.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Applicants should understand the Department's business and ourmission.
- The IT Project teams are small resource groups workingclosely with business teams, so ability to perform cohesively in this space iskey.
- This role is Canberra based. The Department will consider options forcandidates to work outside of ACT however Canberra staff are preferred.




- Demonstrated experience developing solutions using MicrosoftDynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.

- Strong full-stack development skills, including experiencewith C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applicationswith backend services.

- Experience with Azure and Power Platform integrationtechnologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and PowerAutomate.

- Experience working with established applicationarchitectures, development patterns and reusable components, including AzureDevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills,with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinarydelivery teams.

- Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies,such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-basedsolutions.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform,Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.
