Key responsibilities

- Assist with patient triage and undertake preliminary diagnostic and first response care
- Clinical duties including assisting with procedures, immunizations, wound management, ECG's and collection of pathology samples
- Chronic disease management including the development of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Comprehensive Medical Assessments
- Preventative health activities including patient education and outreach
- Maintenance of clinical equipment

About you

- Excellent communication skills and an ability to provide quality patient care to patients from a range of backgrounds and age demographics
- Proven ability to be a positive, independent and collegial member of the team
- Experience working within a busy General Practice and/or Hospital setting and an interest in developing comprehensive knowledge of General Practice nursing
- Ability to manage and prioritize workloads
