We are seeking an experienced Client Engagement & Appointment Coordinator to join Canopy Financial Group on a contract basis. This role is located in Abbotsford, VIC 3067 . Your role will be to contact prospective and existing clients to arrange meetings & reviews for the financial planner and financial educator.
Key responsibilities
Make outbound calls to warm and relatively cold contacts
Book appointments with our financial planner or financial educator
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, appointments, and engagement outcomes in company systems
Manage client enquiries and concerns, providing timely responses and escalating issues appropriately
Prepare appointment reminders and send proactive communications to clients ahead of scheduled meetings
Monitor appointment confirmations and manage cancellations or rescheduling requests efficiently
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coordinated client engagement and consistent messaging
Identify opportunities to improve client engagement processes and suggest process enhancements
Follow approved scripts, privacy and compliance requirements
Provide regular reporting on appointment scheduling metrics and client engagement outcomes
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in outbound calling,
appointment setting, telesales or client engagement.
A con fident, warm and skilled telephone manner
Proven ability to build rapport ands convert conversations into appointments
Proficiency with appointment scheduling systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
Strong objection-handling and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping
Experience in data entry and maintaining confidential client information securely
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance client needs with business objectives
Experience in financial planning, wealth management, superannuation, property, insurance or professional services will be highly regarded.
