About the Role
We are looking for a casual supermarket cleaner to join our team in Murwillumbah. This position offers 3-hour long shifts, with between 2-3 shifts available per week. Typical working hours will fall between 8:15pm and 11:15pm.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and presentable facilities. Tasks include:
Emptying rubbish bins, replacing liners, and wiping bin enclosures
Sweeping, mopping, and operating mechanical floor-scrubbing and polishing equipment
Cleaning glass door panels and other glass surfaces as required
Using wet floor signs and always following safe cleaning practices
What We're Looking For
Availability across multiple days and flexibility for ad-hoc shifts
Follow WHS procedures and protected cleaning methods
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Good time management and communication skills
Current driver's licence and access to a car (essential)
Willingness to complete a police check (paid by us)
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
Bonus Points If You Have
Previous commercial cleaning experience
Experience using floor scrubbing and polishing equipment (highly regarded)
