- Baseline Security Clearance - Scrivener Dam, ACT
- Regular audits to assess compliance to the Dam Safety Management Plan
Our client, a Federal Government statutory authority based in Civic, ACT, requires the services of an Independent Technical Advisory for Scrivener Dam.
Duties of the Independent Technical Advisor
- Provide technical advice and support regarding dam safety management for Scrivener Dam.
- Be responsible for the Annual Validation Audits and 5-yearly Functional Audit (due 2029) of the DSMP to assess the performance.
- The successful Supplier is to provide technical advice to review the following elements of the Plan and provide support when required:
- Dam Safety Management Policy.
- Dam Safety Code.
- Dam Safety Governance.
- Dam Safety Culture.
- Industry Awareness within the NCA.
- Review Design Reviews and Risk Assessments.
- Establish Dam Safety Requirements for Operations, Maintenance and Surveillance.
- Other technical matters.
Skills and Experience - Independent Technical Advisor
- Be suitably qualified and have sound knowledge of relevant ANCOLD and ICOLD guidelines and Australian Standards as appropriate.
- Support contemporary positive practice for dam safety management as applied to Scrivener Dam.
- Experience performing validation and functional audits
- Experience offering independent technical advice relating to Dam Safety.
