n Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
n Pay Rate:$58,500 to $68,250 + super

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Yard / Stores Coordinator to join a busy construction and operations environment in Dandenong South.

n

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in keeping a warehouse and yard organised, and can confidently manage stock, deliveries, equipment and general site requirements.
n You will work closely with construction teams, administration and management to ensure materials, equipment and vehicles are ready and available when required.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets
n
- Completing accurate stock counts and maintaining appropriate stock levels
n
- Picking, preparing and loading materials for construction teams
n
- Loading and dispatching stock to various sites as required
n
- Recording serial numbers and maintaining accurate stock records
n
- Coordinating supplier deliveries and following up outstanding orders
n
- Identifying and reporting stock quality or supply issues
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse, factory and yard
n
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained,



clean and returned to their allocated locations
n
- Completing regular stock checks and identifying critical stock requirements
n
- Undertaking basic equipment repairs and servicing where required
n
- Preparing equipment for collection by construction teams
n
- Assisting with fabrication of basic plumbing and electrical fittings
n
- Coordinating rubbish, recycling and scrap metal collections
n
- Operating forklifts, trucks and other plant and equipment safely and in accordance with procedures
n
- Completing daily pre-starts and equipment checks
n
- Ensuring loads are correctly secured and vehicles are not overloaded
n
- Supporting general warehouse and yard duties as required
n
- Completing safety inspections and reporting hazards, incidents and near misses
n
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the site
n

What We're Looking For

n

The successful candidate will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, yard or logistics environment
n
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse/plant equipment
n
- A current forklift licence
n
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n




- Positive organisational and time-management skills
n
- Strong attention to detail when managing stock and deliveries
n
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
n
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with construction and administration teams
n
- A reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- The ability to follow processes and procedures
n
- A professional and friendly approach when dealing with suppliers, customers and visitors
n

A truck licence or previous plant operating experience will be highly regarded.

n

The Person

n

This position would suit someone who is reliable, practical, organised and hands-on, with a genuine willingness to get stuck in and help wherever required.
n You will need to be comfortable working across a variety of tasks rather than being restricted to one area of the warehouse. The ability to prioritise, keep things moving and maintain a high standard of housekeeping will be important.
