Join a growing Australian SaaS business operating in a complex, highly regulated space, trusted by some of the country's largest organisations to handle high volumes of critical transactions. With regulatory change opening up fresh opportunity, the business is expanding how its platform reaches customers, both through partners building against its API and through connectors published into third party marketplaces.

About The Role

This is a permanent, market facing product role first. You'll own the roadmap for the API and connector suite, deciding what the platform opens up next for partners building inbound and which marketplaces are worth a connector next. You'll hold an evidence based view of where competitors are investing and where partners choose to build or buy. You'll need enough API fluency to engage credibly with engineers, but the commercial lens leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across marketplaces, partner ecosystems and adjacent channels, bringing a structured business case for each
- Navigate the certification and quality bars involved in integrating into third party platforms
- Own the roadmap and backlog, sequencing work against strategic channels and time critical regulatory milestones




- Partner with commercial teams on listing agreements and go to market plans for embedded connectors
- Establish clear versioning and lifecycle standards that partners can build against with confidence
- Act as the product voice to partners and external integrators, folding their feedback into prioritisation

About You

- Product management experience on developer facing platform or API products, ideally in a regulated setting
- Experience navigating the demands of integrating into third party solutions
- A track record of identifying growth opportunities and building the case to pursue them
- Working knowledge of APIs and integration patterns, enough to hold your own in design conversations
- Exposure to payroll or HR integrations such as Workday, SAP, MYOB or Xero highly regarded
- A clear communicator who leads through influence rather than authority
