We're building a new Corporate Affairs function, and we're looking for an Internal Communications Manager to make sure our people understand and feel connected to that purpose.

This is a hands-on role reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, owning our core internal channels and set-piece moments, working closely with our strategic communications team that shapes the narrative behind them. It's a genuine opportunity to bring fresh thinking to how we communicate with our people, particularly through digital tools, new creative approaches and AI. What are we looking for?

Our Media and Communications team is growing, and we are now seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is a full time, permanent roleand flexible work arrangements will be considered. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and maintain the internal communications channel framework, editorial calendar and governance standards.
- Manage business-as-usual employee communications, enterprise announcements, intranet content and leader communications.
- Deliver high-impact campaigns that build understanding of the firm’s purpose, strategy, clients and transformation programme.
- Ensure communications are clear, timely, accurate and aligned with the corporate narrative and strategic direction.
- Use employee feedback, engagement metrics, AI-enabled analysis and emerging technologies to improve communications effectiveness.
- Partner with digital communications colleagues to produce engaging digital and multimedia content for internal channels.




- Own the end-to-end delivery of monthly all-staff town halls and other enterprise-wide events, briefings and leader forums.
- Support transformation and change communications through channel plans, sequencing, leader toolkits, practical templates and coordinated announcements.
- Equip leaders and people managers with clear messages and tools, while supporting culture, recognition, employee experience, employee value proposition and employer branding communications.
- Coordinate internal issues and crisis communications, maintain readiness to use AlertMedia, and build strong partnerships across Corporate Affairs, People and Culture, Transformation and business leadership.

What will you bring?

- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline, with at least five years’ internal communications experience in a complex environment.
- Proven ability to deliver internal and organisational change communications, including initiatives involving senior stakeholders.
- Experience planning and delivering large-scale employee events and town halls, with strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder management skills, with sound judgement, discretion and the ability to work under pressure.
- A hands-on, delivery-focused approach, with basic digital content skills, experience using engagement data, and an interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to improve communications.
