The Role

n

A key part of this role is meeting clients face-to-face and preparing individual tax returns from start to finish.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Conducting face-to-face client appointments, particularly individual tax returns
n
- Preparing financial statements and business tax returns
n
- Preparing Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
n
- Identifying tax planning opportunities
n
- Liaising with the ATO and managing client matters
n
- Taking ownership of your work, with a team to support you
n

About You

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- 2–4 years' experience in public practice accounting
n
- Robust knowledge of individual income tax
n
- Confidence conducting client meetings independently
n
- Excellent communication and people skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
n
- Experience with Australian tax/accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
n
