We are looking for a reliable, personable team member to join us on a permanent part time basis. You will operate the Club's courtesy bus on set evening runs, and between runs you will be on reception and the front door welcoming members and guests. Roster: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Key responsibilities

- Driving scheduled courtesy bus runs and responding to booked pick ups
- Assisting members on and off the bus, including those with limited mobility
- Carrying out pre start vehicle checks and reporting any defects or maintenance needs
- Keeping the bus clean, presentable and fuelled
- Maintaining accurate run sheets and passenger records
- Greeting members and guests and signing them in as required under the Registered Clubs Act
- Processing recent memberships, renewals and guest registrations
- Checking identification and refusing entry to minors and intoxicated patrons
- Answering phones, taking courtesy bus bookings and directing general enquiries
- Monitoring entry and exit, and escalating incidents to duty management

About you





- Current and unrestricted NSW class C driver licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, patient manner
- Punctual, dependable and able to move between tasks without supervision
- Basic computer confidence for membership and sign in systems
- Available for the rostered evening shifts, including public holidays where required
- RSA competency card, or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Previous club, hospitality, reception or passenger driving experience (desirable)
- Hourly rate in line with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020
- A consistent, predictable roster with no rotating shifts
- Free onsite parking
- Training and support to obtain your RSA if needed

West Pennant Hills Sports Club is a member owned, not for profit registered club serving more than 9,000 members from our Cherrybrook site. Our courtesy bus and our front door are the first and last impressions members have of the Club, and this role covers both.
