Maintenance Electrician - Rostered Day/Afternoon shift

Manufacturing | Brisbane North Side | Permanent Role

We are looking for a capable Maintenance Electrician to join our team here at National Glass.

A trade certificate in electrical qualifications is required for this position.

A current electrical license must be held at the commencement of employment.

An unrestricted electrical license is required for this position.

Our site is responsible for the processing and distribution of glass and glass products through-out Queensland and Northern NSW.

Day Hours: 6am to 2pm

Afternoon Hours: 2pm to 10pm (when rostered)

Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday voluntarily)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns and on-going repair work

Problem solving & trouble shooting to ensure machines are running efficiently

Ensure smooth operation and minimize down time of machinery to allow for maximum productivity

Performing routine maintenance in accordance with our maintenance schedule





Complying with WHS and other company policies and procedures

Key to your success in this role:

An aptitude for automated plant and machinery - New European equipment and requires computer literacy.

Experience with CMMS systems

Ability to work independently and a part of a team environment.

Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail

Reliable and punctual

Manufacturing experience preferable

Glass processing machine experience highly regarded

15% Penalty when rostered in afternoon shift

Plus, allowances, Overtime, 5 weeks annual leave
