Project Coordinator - Telecommunications
Position: Project Coordinator - Telecommunications (Full-Time)
Salary: $82,500 per year + Superannuation
Working Hours: 38 hours per week
Location: Mel, VIC-3029.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role

With ongoing telecommunications projects and growing operational requirements, we are seeking an experienced and organised Project Coordinator (Telecommunications) to coordinate and administer projects from planning through to completion.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of telecommunications projects, working closely with Project Managers, engineers, field teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
The position will coordinate project schedules, resources, contractors, documentation and deliverables while monitoring project progress and ensuring project requirements are effectively communicated and administered.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and undertake the administration and coordination of telecommunications projects, including project schedules, resources, milestones and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain and monitor project schedules, work plans, registers and project documentation.
- Coordinate project activities between Project Managers, engineers, field teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Coordinate project resources, equipment, materials and contractor requirements in accordance with project schedules and priorities.
- Monitor project progress against agreed milestones and identify delays, outstanding actions and other issues affecting project delivery.
- Administer project work orders and coordinate and report on variations to project scope, schedules and work requirements.
- Oversee the administrative aspects of contractor and subcontractor activities and monitor their progress against assigned work requirements.
- Liaise with contractors and relevant stakeholders regarding project activities, site requirements, schedules, deliverables and project documentation.
- Collect and analyse project information and prepare progress reports, project updates and reports on project outcomes.
- Coordinate project meetings, maintain meeting records and monitor the completion of agreed actions.
- Review project documentation and maintain accurate records of project activities, approvals, variations, work orders and deliverables.
- Identify project risks,
resource constraints, scheduling issues and other matters that may affect project delivery and elevate them to relevant management.
- Coordinate changes to project schedules, resources and work requirements following approved project decisions.
- Monitor project documentation and reporting requirements to ensure records remain accurate, current and complete.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve project coordination issues.
- Implement project-related administrative decisions and actions in consultation with Project Managers and management.
- Prepare project completion records and contribute to reviews of project performance and outcomes.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in project administration or project coordination, preferably within telecommunications, infrastructure, construction, engineering or another project-based workplace.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating project schedules, resources, contractors and deliverables.
- Experience maintaining project documentation, work orders, registers and progress reports.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and document management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, field teams and clients.
- Ability to identify project issues and take appropriate action or elevate matters where required.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management or administration systems.
