Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a progressive regional health service in South Australia.
n This is a permanent full-time consultant opportunity incorporating an initial three-year Head of Unit appointment, offering the opportunity to combine senior clinical practice with meaningful service leadership.

The Opportunity As Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Head of Unit, you will provide senior clinical leadership while working across a comprehensive range of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services.
n Your responsibilities will include:

- Clinical practice across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
n
- Providing comprehensive gynaecological services.
n
- Leading and supporting the O&G; clinical team.
n
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement.
n
- Supporting service planning and future service development.
n
- Mentoring, supervising and developing junior medical staff.
n
- Promoting a solid multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
n
- Contributing to teaching, education and professional development.
n
- Working collaboratively across the broader regional health network.

Requirements Applicants will require:

- FRANZCOG or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification.

- Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for specialist registration.
n
- Demonstrated consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
n
- Strong clinical leadership capability.
n
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team skills.
n
- Experience in, or a strong interest in, clinical governance and service development.
n
- Commitment to teaching, mentoring and supervision of junior medical staff.
