About the role

n

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop their understanding of the world, build critical thinking skills and achieve their learning goals.

n

This is a Senior Years VCE Humanities role with the willingness and capability to teach across all year levels and all Humanities subjects.

n

Create inclusive learning environments that support student growth and achievement.

Provide pastoral care and build positive relationships with students and families.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.

What you'll bring

n

Relevant teaching qualifications and current VIT registration.

n

Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities at secondary level, including at VCE level.

n

Capability and willingness to teach across all year levels and all Humanities subjects.

n

Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.

n

Sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum.

n

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

n

A commitment to student wellbeing, skilled growth and the College Values.
