We are currently seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Auto Electrician to join an industry-leading client within the civil and mining sector in a field-based Serviceperson capacity. This role will see you travelling across a range of sites north and south of Perth, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a variety of heavy earthmoving equipment.

Offering $70 per hour, a work ute provided and consistent 6am-4pm hours, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician looking for variety, stability and the potential to move into a long-term or permanent position.

The Role

n

Working in a field service / Serviceperson capacity, you'll be responsible for keeping a range of heavy earthmoving equipment operating safely and efficiently across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on position suited to an Auto Electrician who is confident working independently in the field, troubleshooting faults and getting equipment back up and running with minimal downtime.

- Performing diagnostics, servicing and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment
n
- Attending field service requirements across sites north and south of Perth
n
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
n
- Completing preventative and scheduled servicing
n
- Carrying out breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
n
- Inspecting electrical systems and identifying potential faults
n




- Repairing and replacing electrical components as required
n
- Working across a variety of heavy mobile and earthmoving equipment
n
- Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation
n
- Communicating with site personnel and the wider service team
n
- Maintaining the provided work ute, tools and equipment
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
n
- Solid experience working with heavy diesel / earthmoving equipment
n
- Demonstrated diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills
n
- Experience completing servicing, maintenance and repairs
n
- Ability to confidently troubleshoot equipment in a field environment
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
- High attention to detail
n
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

Previous experience within the civil, mining, heavy earthmoving or mobile plant industries will be highly regarded.
