About the Role

PSD Energy is seeking a motivated and skilled Site Electrician to join our electrical site team on a 3:1 roster.

n

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity suited to a qualified Electrician who is looking to develop their career within a project-based electrical environment. The role will support electrical installation, maintenance, testing, fault-finding, commissioning assistance and site-based project delivery.

n

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the safety, reliability and efficiency of electrical systems, while contributing to high-quality project outcomes and milestone delivery.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations, standards and project requirements
n
- Conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to support compliance and safety
n
- Diagnosing electrical faults and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
n
- Supporting upcoming switching programs and commissioning activities
n
- Assisting with hot commissioning requirements to support project schedule and milestone delivery
n
- Providing supervision and practical guidance to apprentices where required
n
- Collaborating with site teams, supervisors and project personnel to complete work safely and efficiently
n
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used and site activities
n




- Following health and safety regulations, safe work procedures and site requirements
n
- Promoting a safe, reliable and team-focused working environment
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Completion of a relevant electrical apprenticeship or training program
n
- Qualified Electrician status
n
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, regulations and safety protocols
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
n
- A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Willingness to support site-based project activities, commissioning assistance and apprentice supervision where required
n
