Construction Office & Accounts Manager — Part-Time or Full time Sunshine Coast

An experienced, practical all-rounder to take ownership of the accounts and help organize the day-to-day administration of a tiling & waterproofing business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows how a trade/construction business operates, enjoys getting things organized, building new systems and is happy to share their knowledge. An important part of the position will be training and supporting an existing team member to build their confidence with administration.

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounts, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll.

Track supplier payments, outstanding invoices and upcoming cash requirements.

Coordinate progress claims and maintain accurate job-cost records.

Keep financial records organized and liaise with external accountant.

Establish straightforward office processes and checklists.





Train and support an existing team member to progressively take on routine administration.

Keep the owner informed about what needs attention and follow through on outstanding tasks.

Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, track income and expenses, and provide simple financial updates to help the owner plan ahead.

About you

Experience managing accounts and office administration for a construction or trade business.

Confidence using accounting software and learning other business systems.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as a team.

A patient, approachable manner and the ability to explain processes clearly.

Someone comfortable handling everyday tasks as well as improving how the office runs.
