About the role
Orange Medical Centre Pharmacy is looking for a full time Pharmacist in Charge to lead our team, working alongside the co-located GP clinic. This is a genuine long-term opportunity — for the right person, we'll discuss a pathway toward future business involvement.
What you'll do
- Provide clinical pharmacy services in a medical-centre setting, with direct GP collaboration on patient care
- Lead and grow our Dose Administration Aid (DAA) service — a key focus area for the pharmacy
- Manage dispensing, clinical interventions, and professional services (vaccinations, MedsChecks, etc.)
- Help shape our upcoming Closing the Gap health initiative as we build it out
- Work with a new dispensing robot as part of our investment in modern pharmacy systems
- Mentor pharmacy assistants/interns and contribute to team development
About you
- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA (current, unrestricted)
- DAA/packing experience highly regarded
- Interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity a plus, as we grow our Closing the Gap program
- Comfortable adapting to automated dispensing systems
- Genuinely interested in a long-term role and future business involvement
What we offer
- $55–$65 per hour, based on experience
