Trailer Assembly & Fit Out Technician (Autolec / Mechanic)

This is a hands-on, full-time role based at our Banyo facility. You'll work across a variety of custom-built Light Vehicle trailers and skids, installing chassis and sub assemblies, air-con, solar, battery, and generator solutions. Opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

Chassis and Enclosure sub assemblies

Mechanical fitting and assembly of components

Hydraulic hose assembly and installation

Installing ELV electrical systems

Installing and commissioning braking systems

Diagnosing faults and completing repairs

Supporting project delivery on and off-site

Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

Optional - If you are an Autolec

Installing and commissioning 12/24/48V ELV systems

Working with schematics and harness assemblies

Manufacture and install of wiring harnesses

Fault finding and electrical troubleshooting

About you

Mechanical Tech or Mechanic or Auto Electrical trade qualification

Strong background in mechanical work

Confident with tools

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings





Positive computer skills and a passion for technology

Brisbane-based and seeking long-term stability

Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen

Safety-conscious, dependable, and detail-focused

Takes pride in workmanship and team contribution

Minimum 5 years of experience
