TVN On-Country delivers projects across VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS and QLD, and we are looking for an energetic and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team based at our Head Office in Wodonga, VIC.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Subcontractor management, including preparing scopes of work and subcontracts, assessing progress claims and variations, managing RFIs, shop drawings and technical data submissions, and coordinating general project administration, including handover documentation, to support successful project outcomes.
Assist with the development, implementation and ongoing management of project programs, budgets and project management plans, in accordance with company and client requirements, including ongoing monitoring, control and reporting of actual performance.
Develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to support successful project outcomes.
Assist with Head Contract administration, including preparing progress claims, managing variations and RFIs, and supporting general contract administration to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
Assist with the preparation of tender submissions.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing oversight of project OH&S;, environmental and quality management systems and procedures in line with client contract and company requirements.
Ensure projects are documented and delivered in line with the conditions of contract, regulatory and statutory requirements.
You will have
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Administrator or Contracts Administrator working for a commercial builder.
The ability to read and understand construction documents, including specifications, drawings and schedules.
Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft programs, including MS Project.
A certificate or tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or trade.
Robust analytical skills and attention to detail.
A valid driver’s license.
Have, or be suitable to obtain, a Defence Security Clearance, which requires Australian citizenship and a satisfactory police check.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels.
A valuable sense of humour.
