The Society For Hair is seeking an experienced Senior Hairstylist to join our luxury beachside salon in Terrigal.

This is a full-time position, part time also available. As a Senior Hairstylist, you will be instrumental in maintaining our salon's reputation for excellence. Our focus is on beautiful lived in colours, specialising in blondes, hair extensions (we stock our own brand in salon) and creating beautiful healthy hair.

Hair extension training can be provided, no previous experience is required for this role.

We have a beautiful large space, loyal clientele, high end products, friendly environment with a robust online presence. We have been a successful luxury hair salon business in Terrigal for 11 years.

Key responsibilities

- Provide a comprehensive range of premium hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments to clients, maintaining the highest standards of quality
- Mentor and support junior hairstylists, offering guidance on techniques, client management, and professional development
- Build and maintain a strong clientele through exceptional customer service and personalised hair consultations
- Contribute to the salon's marketing efforts by showcasing your work through social media, we will help you to grow your social media presence
- Collaborate with the salon team to create a welcoming and professional workplace and strong client connections

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3+ years experience as a practising hairstylist with a focus on colour




- Confident stylist that wants to expand your knowledge and develop your skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Proven leadership experience or the ability to mentor and guide junior staff members effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a full client schedule efficiently
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, and customer service
- Problem-solving abilities and a positive, collaborative approach to working within a team environment
