Fortis Security is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electronic Security to lead the delivery of complex security integration projects across Melbourne and Victoria.

The position can operate from either our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office, depending on the successful candidate’s location and project requirements.

The Role

You’ll oversee high-value electronic security installations and service projects from concept through to completion.

Working from our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standard.

This is an office and site-based role involving regular attendance at project sites across Melbourne and Victoria.

The position is ideally suited to an experienced Project Manager or Senior Security Technician who is ready to take ownership of technically complex projects and drive strong commercial and operational outcomes.

What You’ll Do





- Manage and deliver multiple electronic security projects across Melbourne and Victoria
- Coordinate technicians, internal resources, subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop project schedules, delivery plans and resource requirements
- Oversee project budgets, procurement, forecasting and reporting
- Monitor progress, labour, costs, risks, variations and commercial outcomes
- Maintain compliance with WHS, quality-management and client requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project meetings, reporting and client expectations
- Identify and resolve technical, commercial and operational challenges
- Ensure accurate project documentation and timely administrative completion
- Deliver seamless system handovers with testing, documentation and client sign-off
- Support continuous improvement across Fortis Security’s Victorian operations

What You’ll Bring

- Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Security Technician within the electronic security industry
- Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection and integrated security systems
- Demonstrated experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Solid commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, forecasting and variation management
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Simpro experience highly regarded
- Excellent organisation, leadership, communication and time-management skills
- A current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Full and permanent Australian working rights
- The ability to work from either our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office and attend project sites as required
