Synergy Pipelines & Plumbing is a growing civil contractor delivering sewer, water, drainage and pipeline infrastructure throughout the Mackay region.

We're looking for experienced Pipelayers as well as motivated Labourers who are keen to learn and develop a career in civil pipeline construction.

You don't need to know everything from day one. If you're reliable, willing to learn, prepared to work hard and take pride in doing the job properly, we're prepared to invest the time in developing you.

For experienced pipelayers, we're looking for people who can join the crew and contribute from day one.

What you'll be doing

- Installation of sewer, water and stormwater pipelines
- Assisting with excavation, bedding, pipe laying and backfilling
- Installing pipes, fittings, pits, manholes and associated infrastructure
- Working with excavator operators during trenching and pipe installation
- Using lasers and levels for pipeline installation
- Working safely in and around trenches and underground services
- Assisting with concrete and civil construction works
- Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe work area
- Working as part of an experienced civil construction crew

Who we're looking for

We're interested in hearing from both experienced pipelayers and people wanting an opportunity to learn.

Experienced applicants may have:

- Previous sewer,



water or stormwater pipeline experience
- Civil construction or plumbing/drainage experience
- Experience reading plans and working to line and level
- Experience with lasers and pipe installation
- Excavator, skid steer, loader or other plant tickets
- HR/MR truck licence

For less experienced applicants, we're looking for:

- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliability - someone the crew can depend on
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors and undertake physical work
- An interest in developing skills in civil construction and pipelaying
- Someone looking for a career, not just another job
- White Card and current Driver's Licence are essential.
