BOOKKEEPER / INTERNAL ACCOUNTANT FOR A COMMERCIAL EGG FARM IN WERRIBEE

Reporting to the managing director and the GM, this is an opportunity for a talented individual to be responsible for all of the internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions and Administration as part of a small dynamic team. You will be able to confidently lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight as well as undertake the day-to-day requirements of the Accounting/Bookkeeping role.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions
n
- Handle Accounts Receivable/Payable
n
- Prepare monthly and annual financial accounts including budgets and forecasts
n
- Manage BAS and Statutory reporting
n
- Undertake reconciliations
n
- Lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight
n

About you

n

n




- Minimum 5 years proven experience as an Internal Accountant/Bookkeeper
n
- Strong knowledge of double entry accounting and reconciliations
n
- Experience with XERO
n
- Excellent communication and verbal skills
n
- Capable of interacting effectively with people at all levels of an organisation
n
- Detail-oriented to ensure no mistakes in critical documents
n
- Australian Permanent Resident
