Return to Work Coordinator (Dendrobium & Tahmoor Mines)

South Coast Health Hub (SCHH) is seeking an experienced and motivated Return to Work Coordinator to support injury management and workers' compensation claims across Dendrobium and Tahmoor Mines.

This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced injury management team, where you will receive clinical and strategic support to help achieve exceptional outcomes for injured workers and the business.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with workplace leadership, workers, treating practitioners, and insurer to facilitate safe, sustainable return to work outcomes.

$120,000 – $130,000 per year package + fuel card (dependent on experience)

Key responsibilities

Engage proactively with injured workers from the point of injury through to claim closure and full recovery.

Develop and monitor tailored Return to Work plans that align worker capacity with operational requirements.

Liaise with supervisors and management to identify and coordinate suitable duties.

Attend case conferences with treating practitioners, insurers and rehabilitation providers.

Build positive relationships with injured workers and key stakeholders.

Monitor certificates of capacity and support timely upgrades in work capacity.

Maintain accurate and compliant claims management documentation.

Prepare reports and provide updates on claim progress and injury status.





Work closely with the SCHH clinical team to ensure coordinated and effective injury management.

About you

Experience in workers' compensation, injury management or return to work coordination

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Excellent organisational and administrative skills

Confidence working with medical practitioners, insurers, rehabilitation providers and operational leaders

A proactive, solution-focused approach to injury management

Experience within mining or heavy industry (desirable)

Allied health, rehabilitation or case management background (desirable)

Knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and NSW Coal Mining Insurance (desirable)
