Ken's Plumbing Supplies Rockhampton is looking for a reliable, motivated and customer-focused person to join our team in a full-time Trade Counter Sales position.
We are an established business with a long-standing history in the Plumbing & Building Industry, servicing plumbers, tradespeople, contractors, builders and the general public.
What you'll be doing
This is a varied role where you'll be dealing directly with customers while also being involved in the day-to-day running of the branch.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving plumbers, tradespeople, contractors and the general public
- Counter sales and providing great customer service
- Building strong relationships with our regular trade customers
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Stock control and general warehouse duties
- Using computers and internal systems
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable,
punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys dealing with people
- Works well as part of a team
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Is comfortable using computers
- Is organised and able to work in a busy environment
Plumbing or trade-counter experience is an advantage, but the right attitude is just as significant.
