The role will likely include working in a range of clinical areas including Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient care including group classes, Aged Care, Community input, and Acute Inpatient care.

Key responsibilities

- Working under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals, you will assist with specialised clinical screenings and treatments, monitor patient responses to therapy, support patient preparation and movement, and provide education as directed.
- This means that whilst being line managed by Physiotherapy, this role will likely involve working among multiple allied health disciplines as required.

What you need

- As an AHA3,



you will also be expected to provide leadership and guidance to more junior Allied Health Assistant staff and/or provide supervision to Allied Health Assistant students.
- To succeed in the Allied Health Assistant role, you will: Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.
- To succeed in the Allied Health Assistant role, you will: Demonstrate high-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds as well as the ability to work with patients demonstrating complex care needs.
