Warehouse Team Leader – Dispatch & Operations

n Lubex Australia is looking for a motivated, hands‐on Warehouse Team Leader to take ownership of our daily dispatch operation and help lead our warehouse and production team.

n

This is not a desk‐based supervisor role.

n

You'll be on the floor working alongside the team — picking and packing orders, booking freight, preparing dispatches, coordinating carriers and making sure customer orders leave accurately and on time.

n

At the same time, you'll help organize the daily workload, set priorities, support the team and keep the operation moving.

n

We're open to experienced Team Leaders, but we're also interested in hearing from Senior Storepersons, Leading Hands, 2ICs and experienced Dispatch/Warehouse Operators who are ready to take their first genuine step into leadership.

About the Role

n

Dispatch will be the main focus of this position.

n

You'll take ownership of the day‐to‐day dispatch function, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Picking and packing customer orders
n
- Booking freight with transport providers
n
- Preparing courier, carton and pallet freight
n
- Producing freight labels and dispatch documentation
n
- Coordinating daily carrier collections
n
- Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch
n
- Monitoring outstanding orders and daily dispatch priorities
n
- Following up and helping resolve freight and delivery issues
n
- Ensuring products are packed safely and appropriately for transport
n
- Leading and working alongside a small team of approximately 3–6 employees
n
- Allocating daily work and communicating priorities
n
- Monitoring progress throughout the day and adjusting workloads when required
n
- Supporting receiving, put‐away,



replenishment and stock movements
n
- Assisting warehouse and production activities when required
n
- Helping train and develop team members
n
- Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and warehouse organization
n
- Identifying operational problems and taking action to resolve them
n
- Communicating issues, priorities and improvement opportunities with the Operations Manager
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.

n

You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you're willing to learn, have a strong warehouse background and are ready to take responsibility for keeping the operation moving.

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- Previous warehouse, dispatch or distribution experience
n
- Strong picking, packing and dispatch experience
n
- Experience booking freight and dealing with transport providers
n
- Experience preparing pallet and/or courier freight
n
- A current forklift licence
n
- Practical forklift experience
n
- Good computer skills and confidence learning recent systems
n
- Strong organization and time‐management skills
n
- Good communication and people skills
n
- A strong focus on accuracy and customer service
n
- The ability to prioritize when multiple jobs require attention
n
- A safety‐focused approach
n
- The willingness to work hands‐on alongside your team
n

n

Previous experience as a Team Leader, Leading Hand or 2IC would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
