Whitsunday Ocean Services is a family owned and operated Marine Safety business based in the Whitsundays, QLD. We specialise in high-quality marine upholstry, covers and inflatable boat covers, along with a wide range of custom marine work.
Due to continued growth and an increase in workload, we're looking for skilled and motivated textile tradespeople to join our friendly team.
We're open to applicants with experience as a;
- Marine Trimmer
- Upholsterer
- Sewing Machinist
- Textile Tradesperson
Experience with industrial sewing machines and marine work is highly regarded. However, if you have solid domestic sewing experience, a good eye for detail and a genuine interest in developing your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience in textile manufacturing, sewing or upholstry
- Be keen to learn marine cover, cushion and upholstry work
- Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work
- Be reliable, practical and willing to get involved
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Have a positive, can-do attitude
- Be committed to producing high-quality workmanship
