Key responsibilities

- The role works collaboratively with senior executives, policy teams, and program areas to deliver initiatives that contribute to improved justice, social, and community outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
- Provide authoritative advice to the Executive Director and senior executives on Aboriginal policy, priorities, and emerging issues.
- Lead strategic projects for the Executive Director and across the division that address key challenges and opportunities, and improve outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
- Develop, coordinate and support regional executive engagement with Aboriginal communities and organisations.

What you need

- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal community, both society and culture, and the issues impacting it.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and work effectively with the Victorian Aboriginal community.
