We’re looking for a commercially driven Territory Account Manager – Survey to join our team in Queensland, growing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities across the state.
The Role
This is a hands-on sales role focused on growing Aptella’s Survey business across Queensland.
You’ll manage existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities and work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right hardware, software and workflow solutions.
You’ll also work alongside Aptella’s technical and professional services teams to support demonstrations, proposals and successful customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Grow sales and develop new business opportunities across Queensland
- Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs and provide technical and commercial advice
- Present and demonstrate Aptella’s Survey solutions
- Manage opportunities from initial discussion through to proposal, negotiation and close
- Develop leads through customer visits, networking and industry events
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
- Work closely with technical and professional services teams to support customers
The role is strongly focused on business development, client retention, account management and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
About You
You’re a relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys understanding customer challenges and turning them into opportunities.
You bring:
- Experience in territory sales, account management, business development or technical sales
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Confidence presenting and demonstrating technical solutions
- Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
- A proactive approach to generating new business
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence managing a sales pipeline and CRM
- Willingness to travel across Queensland as required
Experience within surveying, geospatial, positioning technology, construction technology or related markets will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of relevant hardware, software and workflow solutions is advantageous, but equally important is your ability to understand customers and build strong commercial relationships.
