About the role
Stepz Fitness is seeking a motivated and experienced Group Trainer / Team Member to join our agile team at our Dapto, NSW location. As a Group Trainer, you will play a vital role in helping our members achieve their fitness goals through personalised training programs and engaging group classes. This is a part time position with the chance to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and be part of a leading fitness brand.
Join our dynamic fitness team, where you'll collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations, assist in promoting memberships, handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping, and maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and equipment upkeep.
What you'll be doing
Lead group fitness classes such as HIIT and strength training to motivate and inspire our members
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with members to understand their needs and preferences
Maintain a professional and safe training environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and used correctly
Assist with the promotion of the gym and its services to attract new members
What we're looking for
A Certificate III is a minimum requirement for this role. Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent is not essential but desirable.
Demonstrated experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction in a gym setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and engage with members
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A passion for health and fitness, and a desire to help others achieve their wellness goals
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
