Sunbury Veterinary Clinic is looking for a passionate and proactive Practice Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the next chapter of our growing clinic.

With a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, a dedicated team of veterinarians and experienced nurses, and a proud history of serving the Sunbury community since 1970, this is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact.

We are looking for someone who brings strong clinical, hands‑on veterinary nursing experience alongside commercial understanding and a passion for people leadership. Whether you have extensive Practice Management experience or are ready to take the next step in your career, we are happy to train and support the right person.

About the role

Working alongside our Lead Veterinarian, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical, operational and commercial success of the clinic.

This is a hands‑on leadership position where you will help ensure the team has the support, direction and resources they need to deliver exceptional patient care and client experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day‑to‑day operations and workflow of the clinic.
- Leading and developing the nursing and support team.
- Managing recruitment, rostering and people‑related activities.
- Supporting payroll, accounts, banking and other administrative responsibilities.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient experience.
- Contributing to financial performance, business improvement and commercial decision‑making.

About you

You are a confident veterinary professional who enjoys being involved in the day‑to‑day running of a clinic and is ready to make a difference.

We are looking for:

- Strong veterinary nursing knowledge and hands‑on clinical experience.
- Commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding the business side of veterinary practice.
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach.
- Strong communication, leadership and people management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with the Lead Veterinarian and wider leadership team.
- Previous management experience is highly regarded, but we are open to supporting someone with the right attitude, clinical foundation and willingness to learn.
