About the role

n

Based out of our modern Hazelmere workshop, this role offers a mix of field service and workshop work, supporting a modern fleet of civil construction equipment.

n

You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Georgiou's fleet to ensure high standards of safety, reliability and performance, while working within a small, collaborative maintenance team.

n





This is a metro role offering consistent hours (45–50 hours per week), with the benefit of being home every night and enjoying weekends with your family.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs
n
- Diagnose faults across a range of mobile plant and equipment
n
- Maintain and repair equipment including articulated trucks, dozers, excavators, graders, wheel loaders and ancillary plant
n
- Complete field service work using a fully equipped service vehicle
n
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and compliance standards
n
- Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment
n

Your skills and experience

n

n
- Trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
n
- 5+ years post-trade experience working on civil construction equipment
n
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting capability (including electrical systems)
n
- Experience across both workshop and field service environments
n
- Proven experience maintaining CAT or similar mobile plant equipment
n
- Strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Valid C Class driver's licence (HR desirable)
n
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the roleStrong alignment with our values: Care, Integrity, Excellence
