Black Truck & Ag is seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a full-time position based at our premises in Toowoomba QLD 4350. As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment whilst providing essential administrative support to our operations. This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients and delivery personnel in a warm and professional manner

Managing the reception desk, answering telephone enquiries and directing calls to the appropriate staff members

Processing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels

Maintaining reception area cleanliness, organization and presentation

Providing general administrative support including data entry, filing and document preparation

Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders as required

Assisting with customer enquiries and providing information about our products and services

Supporting team members with administrative tasks as needed

Answering emails and responding to general enquiries in a timely manner

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a reception or administration role, ideally within a customer-facing environment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent customer service abilities





Proficiency with computer systems and office software, including Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative work

Professional telephone manner and ability to handle enquiries courteously

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

A friendly, approachable demeanour and positive attitude

Experience in the agriculture or truck industry would be advantageous
