Avalon Family Medical Practice is seeking vocationally registered GPs to join our AGPAL-accredited clinic. We have capacity for one full-time and one part-time GP, with flexible days and hours. There is also the option to build a telehealth caseload if working from home suits you better.

Avalon Family Medical Practice is seeking vocationally registered GPs to join our AGPAL-accredited clinic. We have capacity for one full-time and one part-time GP, with flexible days and hours. There is also the option to build a telehealth caseload if working from home suits you better.

About us

We’ve served the Avalon Beach community for over 60 years and are the only general practice in Avalon Village. Private billing, GP-owned, with a collegial team of eight GPs, two experienced Practice Nurses and long-standing admin staff.

Our GPs have a range of special interests, from paediatrics to skin cancer to palliative care.



There is also strong and growing demand in menopause and women’s health - we receive new patient requests daily - and real scope for a GP wanting to develop their practice in this area alongside Dr Ceri Cashell.

Located beside the Avalon Bowling Green and a two-minute walk to the beach, the clinic has a peaceful, almost country feel, with cafés and shops at the door.

Requirements
