Job Purpose

Responsible for

- Supervision of the Assembly team to achieve scheduled production targets and to identify areas of continuous improvement.
n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Monitor labour efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
n
- Identify skills gaps, train staff and assess competencies.
n
- Manage requests for leave and report on absenteeism.
n
- Monitor quality and report on any product non-conformance.
n




- Identify and contribute to continuous quality / improvement projects.
n
- Report all hazards and investigate reported incidents.
n
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always followed.
n
- Support Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.
n
- Monitor and encourage good housekeeping practices.
n
- Production / Assembly knowledge.
n
- Interpersonal skills and able to motivate the team.
n
- Problem solving and decision making.
n
- Clear communication both Verbal and Written.
n
- Planning, Organizing and attention to detail.
n
- Adherence to Company policies and Safety procedures.

Desired Education / Skills

n

n
- Minimum 2 years experience in a team leader role supervising assembly and or warehouse staff
n
- Strong PC skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
