H W Landells Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Router & Saw Operator to join our team in Sunshine West, VIC. This is a full-time position based at our facility, offering a key opportunity to contribute to our carpentry and cabinet-making operations. You will operate and maintain advanced CNC machinery and saw equipment, playing an essential role in delivering high-quality custom and bespoke cabinetry solutions to our clients. This position is integral to our production workflow, ensuring precision, efficiency and adherence to strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

- Operate CNC routers and precision saws in accordance with operational procedures and safety guidelines
- Set up machines, load materials, and programme cutting specifications using CAD files and technical drawings
- Monitor machine performance during operation, making real-time adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished components for defects, dimensional accuracy and surface quality before progressing to the next production stage
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn components
- Troubleshoot machine issues and report technical problems to supervisors or maintenance staff
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets
- Handle materials safely and comply with all workplace safety requirements and company policies

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating CNC routers and precision saws in a carpentry, cabinet-making or woodworking environment
- Strong technical understanding of CNC machinery operation, tool changes and calibration
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, CAD files and production specifications




- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented team
- Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications in machinery operation and workplace safety
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
- Desirable: experience with cabinet-making software or design systems, or previous experience in custom furniture or bespoke cabinetry production
