COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER WANTED FOR IMMEDIATE START

Cazam Kitchens & Joinery is a Melbourne-based joinery company specialising in high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry, joinery and fit-out projects.

n

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our growing team.

n

This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package offered, dependent on experience.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

n
- Managing commercial joinery projects from handover through to completion
n
- Overseeing high-rise apartment and multi-residential joinery installations
n
- Managing retail, shop fit-out and other commercial projects
n
- Developing and managing project programs and installation schedules
n
- Coordinating site supervisors, installers and subcontractors
n
- Liaising with builders, project managers, site managers and clients
n
- Reviewing and interpreting shop drawings, construction plans and specifications
n
- Coordinating project requirements with internal design, production and purchasing teams
n
- Managing project budgets, costs and variations
n
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or risks
n
- Resolving site, installation and coordination issues efficiently
n
- Ensuring projects meet required quality, safety and compliance standards
n
- Managing defects and overseeing project completion and handover
n
- Attending site meetings and providing regular project updates
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- Previous experience as a Commercial Project Manager, Project Coordinator or similar role
n




- Experience managing high-rise apartment or multi-residential projects
n
- Experience managing commercial joinery, cabinetry or fit-out projects
n
- Solid understanding of commercial construction and fit-out processes
n
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction plans
n
- Strong experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
n
- Experience coordinating installers, subcontractors and site teams
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Experience managing project budgets, variations and costs
n
- A proactive and hands-on approach to project management
n
- A trade background in Cabinet Making, Joinery, Carpentry or Construction would be highly regarded.
